I tried to learn to play violin from books but that was too difficult. I really didn’t have much success at all. Later I took violin lessons for beginners at a music school but still found it slow going and expensive. My parents could not afford to keep paying the tuition fees for me to learn violin. I started to learn violin a few years ago but soon gave up because it was difficult to learn and it was too expensive. I started again in February last year, and I have been playing for over a year now. I can now play the violin quite well. Overall, I am very happy!
