I think most people would try to learn to play violin at school or with private violin lessons. But I have usually found that the best way to learn something new is by self-study. Once you have taught yourself the basics then you can spend more money learning that talent to a higher level of achievement.

I started to learn violin a few years ago but soon gave up because it was difficult to learn and it was too expensive. I started again in February last year, and I have been playing for over a year now. I can now play the violin quite well. Overall, I am very happy!
